As a Bay Area native, Nicole developed her love of nature very young while hiking the hills of Mt. Tamalpais. She lived in Maryland for six years before returning to the Bay Area and settling in Napa. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends, pets and exploring new food. After a couple moves, she realized interior design was a great way to combine her problem-solving and artistic skills. She attended the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and achieved a BFA in Interior Architecture and Design. It was there that she became passionate about sustainable design and how it benefits the health of the environment, economy, and people. Nicole’s job at Healthy Buildings helps her to achieve her goal of making a positive difference in the world through design. She is a LEED Green Associate.
