Ben comes to Healthy Buildings from his Sonoma County construction company, Whipple Bros. Construction, specializing in home remodel projects and ground up construction. He has always been an advocate for environmentally friendly buildings and supplies whenever possible. He graduated from Santa Rosa Junior College with an Associate’s degree in 3D Modeling and Animation, then moved on to Sonoma State University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Energy Management and Design. Ben has worked as an advocate for climate change and resilience for a healthy future for the Center for Climate Protection and The City of Rohnert Park’s Planning Committee. When he is not at work, he enjoys playing the bass guitar, spending time with his family outside hiking or enjoying nature, and loves to garden and cook healthy food. His passion is finding ways to design low cost building projects focusing on renewable and recycled materials.
