What People Are Saying
The dormitory houses 60 students. We are proud of the fact that it was certified LEED Gold (a very strong Gold I might add), and is one of the very few dormitories in the United States to achieve that designation. Healthy Buildings was project manager, general contractor, and LEED manager, and they had a very tight construction timeframe and significant budget constraints. They were able to deliver the project as per our requirements. Now 18 months later, we have had zero issues with the building; it is performing as we had hoped at very low energy and maintenance costs.
— Charles Henning, CHA, Managing Director, Culinary Institute of America at Greystone, St. Helena, CA
Healthy Buildings worked with Kilburn Development for almost a three-year period from 2003 to 2006. During that time they designed and were general contractor for our Napa project: a 45-unit show home project in central Napa. In 2008 the project was recognized as one of the “Best Green Neighborhoods” in the Bay Area by Napa-Solano magazine. Healthy Buildings was instrumental in making this project happen. We would very much recommend them for a similar type project.
— Robert Wyndelts, President, Kilburn Development Company, Inc.
Healthy Buildings has been working with the Gasser Foundation for almost four years now. They were instrumental in the planning and construction work associated with moving our headquarters building to net zero energy, something that we are quite proud of. More recently, they served as owners’ representative on a 24-unit supportive housing residential project that Gasser recently completed. We are quite pleased with the project, and appreciative of the role that Healthy Buildings played in making it happen. We would not hesitate to use them on future projects for the Gasser Foundation.
